"I relish the challenge; that moment of thinking on your feet, weighing up the calculated risk and thinking what the return would be journalistically.”

David Pratt is one of Scotland’s most highly regarded journalists and war photographers.

A foreign correspondent for over 20 years, specialising in conflict, humanitarian and security issues, David has hiked across the Hindu Kush mountains and hidden out in caves with guerrilla fighters. In Kabul he was an eyewitness to the factional struggles that ravaged the city out of which the Taliban would rise.

In our 12½ minutes he spoke with Andy Campbell, Elevator Commercial Director, about:

1: his notion of risk

2: passion for telling stories through images,

3: tales from the frontline and the challenges this has brought,

And much more…
