Ambitious, go-getting entrepreneurs are being called upon to dream bigger than ever before.  

Elevator, Scotland’s largest private sector business support organisation, has opened applications for its original Accelerator – The Elevator Programme, which is now in its 6th year.  

The immersive, fully funded 12-week accelerator will take place in Aberdeen, Dundee and Lanarkshire and is looking for innovation-driven individuals who are eager to accelerate their business concepts. 

The programme will begin on 13th September, with successful applicants embarking on three distinct stages: Discovery, Development and Delivery.  

The discovery stage, which take place over the initial four-weeks, will equip participants with the resources and insight required to establish their minimum viable products (MVPs).  

The development stage will push each individual to reanalyse their ideas and develop robust, implementable action plans. Then, finally, the delivery stage will see each make decisions on how best to take their products or services to market, whilst being introduced to vital topics including internationalisation and investor readiness.  

Karen Clark, Programme and Events Operations Manager, said: “The key element which really makes our Elevator Programme stand out from the rest is that the focus is always on the participants – known as Founders.  

“We work to accelerate them - their thinking, beliefs, learning, and confidence. 

“Founders join us to work on their businesses and we provide the environment, the ecosystem and the networks that enable them to do so.” 

Since the covid-19 pandemic, Elevator has seen an impressive 265 Founders join its suite of Accelerator programmes, coming from a diverse range of sectors including food and drink, technology, science, events and many more.  

With an already proven track record, The Elevator Programme has supported a number of incredibly talented entrepreneurs including health and fitness guru Shelley Booth, who created a remarkable seven-figure business in just two years.
