A Lanarkshire cohort of ten early-stage businesses has been handpicked to take part in the 2023 Elevator Programme - designed to fast track their business offering, growth, and investment potential.
Delivered by Elevator and in partnership with Business Gateway Lanarkshire, The Elevator Programme is fully funded by North Lanarkshire Council and South Lanarkshire Council.
The selected companies – known as Founders - will undergo a 12-week mentorship programme, during which they will be coached to challenge themselves, their thinking and business. In addition, they will expand their networks as well as develop their business value propositions.
Launching on 28th February, in-person sessions will be delivered at the award-winning University of Scotland Lanarkshire Campus. The programme aims to drive entrepreneurialism in Lanarkshire by offering a safe space to help ambitious entrepreneurs accelerate their businesses and make them a success.
Each Founder will engage in one-to-one sessions along with agitators and professional partner surgeries. At the end of the programme, each will have the chance to pitch their businesses and celebrate their completion of the Elevator Programme at the founders showcase.

During the 12 weeks, we will be joined by top agitators and mentors who will challenge our cohort, fine-tuning them until they are investor ready. We will focus on the core skills that give entrepreneurs a competitive edge – I am hugely privileged to watch as the cohort grow, develop, and achieve great things.”
