The series of free events are specially designed to cover the topics that are currently facing Dundee businesses and events already confirmed will cover areas such as exporting, Meet the Buyer in the Public Sector, marketing for start-ups, HR essentials for small businesses and even a High Noon Lunch with Microsoft.
City Development Convener Councillor Will Dawson Dundee City Council said: “Business Gateway work all year round to help new and growing businesses fulfil their potential and by working closely with entrepreneurs, they know exactly what issues and challenges they are facing. By using this knowledge, Business Gateway and its partners including Dundee City Council, have put together a programme of events focusing on the key issues facing Dundee companies.”
Alison Henderson, CEO of Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce added: "DACC are delighted to be a partner in delivering Dundee Business Week 2015. We’re looking forward to an exciting mixture of events during the week, and are hosting our own High Noon Lunch with Microsoft. On 25 February, we’ll hear from Microsoft's Scottish Director Peter Ferry, and Dundee’s very own Chris van der Kuyl, who will talk about the next generation of technology and how businesses can take inspiration to grow & develop for the future. Dundee Business Week is a great opportunity for us to work with others across the City to develop an outstanding programme of events which offers something for every business in Dundee and beyond.”
