Elevator is now recruiting for a Programme Co-ordinator to join our growing Programme & Events team to work directly with some of Scotland’s most exciting start-up and scale-up companies. Opportunities like this do not come up very often.

Working with local authorities, schools, universities, and Scotland’s entrepreneurial support eco-system, Elevator delivers Accelerators and other Programmes and workshops that cover all the smarts and skills that modern business life demands including leadership, teamwork, branding, knowing your customer, entrepreneurial skills, marketing, advertising, market research, finance and innovation.

 The Role…

Curious what a Programme Co-ordinator at Elevator does? Well, you should be prepared that no one day will be the same! This is a role that offers variety, opportunity and the platform to make a real impact.

As a key member of our renowned Programmes & Events team, we are looking for you to have that proven skill set and energy that will allow you to successfully:

  • Work directly with Lanarkshire schools through the Enterprise Academy initiative
  • Deliver specific sessions and events for teachers linked to the curriculum
  • Develop existing partnerships with the local colleges and the University of West of Scotland
  • Promote enterprise thinking and entrepreneurship across the region at events
  • Engage with key local and regional community groups
  • Assist in the design and delivery of other Elevator Programmes across Lanarkshire
  • Support the Programme & Events team through ‘innovating, curating and developing’

 What we are looking for…

  • A proven track record in working with people and / or businesses.
  • The ability to travel between sites and across local authority areas where necessary.
  • A high level of IT skills in applications including Microsoft.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to “think on your feet” to adapt to any audience.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Excellent administrative and time management skills.
  • The ability to work to achieve targets and key programme deliverables.
  • The ability to multitask and manage your own time and workload efficiently.
  • Excellent networking skills.
