A finalist from The Apprentice who was dubbed by Lord Alan Sugar as the "right man, wrong plan", is joining two inspirational speakers at one of the North-east’s biggest enterprising conferences.

Neil Clough, who reached the final five candidates on The Apprentice, will be joining owner of Regis Banqueting Catering Services, Ryan Longmuir, and founder of the Scottish Business Awards, Josh Littlejohn, during this year’s Enterprise Conference - 'Making It Happen' on Wednesday, 20 November, at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Neil Clough, The Apprentice finalist and speaker at The Enterprise Conference said:

"It is a pleasure to be speaking at The Enterprise Conference - Making It Happen. I will be talking about my motivation to be successful in business along with many stories from The Apprentice. My talk is aimed at inspiring people to believe in themselves and to never give up."

The trio will address more than 400 students and pupils, and aspiring entrepreneurs at the annual free event, which is organised by business support and development organisation Enterprise North East Trust (Enterprise).

Neil Clough impressed Lord Sugar with his leadership and sales skills on the BBC television programme, and although he didn’t win, his time on the sixth series of the show presented him as a motivational and inspirational leader.
