Gyles Brandreth Returns to Host the 2019 Elevator Awards

This year, Elevator is thrilled to welcome back Gyles Brandreth as the host of our awards. Writer, broadcaster, actor, former MP and now Chancellor of the University of Chester, there really is no end to Mr Brandreth’s talents.

A former Oxford Scholar, President of the Oxford Union and MP for the City of Chester, Gyles Brandreth’s career has ranged from Lord Commissioner of the Treasury to starring in his own award-winning musical in London’s West End.

He has steered us through two fantastic evenings, and we can’t wait to hear from him again at our ceremony on the 27th June as we celebrate 20 years of entrepreneurial talent.

Professor Gary McEwan, CEO of Elevator, said: “We are delighted to see Gyles join us for a third year. A born entertainer, his charisma and razzmatazz hit all the right notes with our audience. His experience and career diversity fit perfectly with Elevator’s entrepreneurial mindset, along with the drive and ambition of our finalists.”

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 27th June 2019 at Ardoe House Hotel. Book your tickets or table today!
