New Scottish businesses can pitch for thousands of £'s for their business and the Scottish EDGE competition are also offering free half day workshops in local areas to train people in the practical pitching skills required to make an application really shine. The Scottish EDGE is a business competition set up to support and encourage entrepreneurial activity among young companies in Scotland.

Round 3 of the competition opportunity opened on the 20th of August and runs until only the 18th of September 2013, so there is no time to waste if you would like to pitch for this monetary prize. The Scottish EDGE competition has already awarded over £1.2 million to 35 of Scotland's brightest entrepreneurs, and you could share in these celebrations.

Just think of the potential that £50,000 has to transform your business when all you have to do is present and pitch for the investment. The whole idea behind the Scottish EDGE is to encourage dynamic growth entrepreneurs, which could be you.
