Elevator & Business Gateway is hosting two business events as part of North-East Business Week. The week is focusing on driving growth in the business community and is taking place from 27 April – 1 May.

The first Elevator event, Magically Enhance Your Elevator Pitch, which takes place on Tuesday 28 April, is a free pitch-training event with magicians and training facilitators, Fifth Dimension, who will educate attendees about conjuring up the perfect elevator pitch.

The workshop, which will take place at Elevator’s headquarters situated in The Hub in Aberdeen’s Energy Park at the Bridge of Don, will also present networking opportunities with key business people.

Elevator will launch a competition at the event, giving people the chance to win £1,000 by creating and sending in their own video pitches.

The second workshop, Change Your Mindset to Drive Growth, which takes place on Thursday 30 April, welcomes Professor Les Charm, of Babson College, USA - the number one entrepreneurial university in the world, for a transatlantic video presentation about entrepreneurship.

Networking body, Aberdeen Business Network Community (ABN Community), will host a networking workshop after the presentation, allowing attendees to meet with a number of key business representatives.

Both events will take place at Elevator's state of the art headquarters at The Hub, Aberdeen Energy Park, Exploration Drive, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen AB23 8GX.
