A born problem-solver, Tristam Horn, DeltaTek CEO, spotted a gap in the market to enhance drilling operations in the oil and gas industry, whilst providing better wells for the operator.
With a mission to develop technologies which would save rig time, Tristam - like many passionate entrepreneurs, went straight to developing, building and testing his solutions. Within a short timeframe he realised the need to surround himself with a successful support network and joined the Elevator Programme
Our 12-week intensive programme provided Tristam with the core skills that give entrepreneurs the competitive edge, coupled with the skillset to fast-track his business.
He said: “Elevator provided key networking opportunities to a pool of industry partners who offered guidance, support and wider networks to help accelerate the commercialisation process of my technology and facilitate fields trials with two major North Sea operators. This provided DeltaTek with the results to demonstrate the benefits of its technologies, which are now field proven.

Since engaging with our Elevator Programme, DeltaTek has grown at an exponential rate and achieved a number of significant milestones including:
- Successful deployment of SeaCure with major operators
- Securing its first North Sea contract
- Recruited its first full-time employee
